YuanPop is a small Malaysian snack company that still behaves like a home kitchen. This is how that happened.
Where it started
One tray, one
borrowed oven.
The first batch was made for a family breakfast and handed out in reused jars to neighbours. It was too sweet, then too dry, then finally right — and the requests never stopped.
What started as a weekend habit became YUAN HANG SDN. BHD., the company behind YuanPop. We kept the small trays, kept the hand stirring, and kept the rule that got us here: nothing goes into a bag that we wouldn't serve at our own table.
How we bake
Slow, small,
and a little stubborn.
Low and slow
Granola is toasted in shallow trays at a low temperature so the clusters set properly instead of burning at the edges.
One kitchen
Everything is made in a single Kuala Lumpur kitchen, which is why we can trace every bag back to the day it was baked.
No shortcuts
No palm-oil shortcuts, no flavour powders standing in for fruit. If a recipe needs more butter, it gets more butter.
